Meet the Bond Lane Research Team

Cynthia Jennings

Administration & PR

Cynthia is energetic and on the go all the time, chasing us for information and continually scouring the databases for the required information Resposible for keeping our current data up to date, Cynthia is the office powerhouse and heads up our communications.

Outside of the office, Cynthia loves spending time with her seven grandchildren and keeping up to date with the latest technology and social media advances, especially Facebook.  Another favourite pastime is cooking, she loves baking cakes for all the family and the Bond Lane team of course!

Research & Client Liaison

Lucy joined Bond Lane Research in June 2014 and loves working with the team! She has completed a Level 3 Diploma in Law with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives at Coleg Gwent Newport where she discovered her flair for the Law of Wills and Probate.

During her pregnancy and maternity leave, Lucy saw Phil hard at work reuniting distant relatives on BBC’s Heir Hunters and it has been her dream job ever since.

In her spare time Lucy does some modelling, singing and dancing, bakes celebration cakes for her friends and family and has a love of all things vintage.

Phil Jennings

Part Time- Senior Genealogist

Phil is engaged part time and when he’s not helping us solve cases in Southern Africa, he spends quality time with his family, spoiling his grandchildren with sweets.

Phil has a passion for history and needs to keep his mind busy, so he’s usually solving mysteries of one sort or another… like: ‘Where did the car keys get to?’ And: ‘Who ate my buttermilk rusk?’

He can often be found visiting castles and other historical sites and enjoys going on holiday cruises to far off places with his wife, Cynthia. He supports the Springboks, but he assures us: ‘That’s never the case when they play England –or Wales!’
